Introducing you guys to Victor Wembeya the 7ft2 15 year old who's turning heads all across europe. Let's try to reach 2k likes on this video, 1 like for every sub we need to reach 100k.
So Victor, who is from France, from a young age has played a number sports competitively, such as world football, judo, and basketball. Which he eventually dropped the other sports for because.. well why'd you think?
Coming from an atheltic background, his freakish genetics comes at no surprise, his father was a long jumper, his mother was a 6'3 center who played pro womans basketball in france, his older sister eve represents the french national team team at junior level, where she sawe her nations to gold at the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship in 2017.
Victor was dunking at aged 10, and currently plays at the youth level with the French club Nanterre (pronounced Non-tare), but also has experience on loan with the FC Barcelona youth setup in Spain. A programme with a reputation for producing some world's best athlete's across all sports.

This summer, Victor joined the French national U16 team at the FIBA U16 European Championship, the men's equivalent to the tournament his older sister won at the same age.
Coming into what we call the euros, Victor had a lot to prove. There were a tonne of concerns from scouts about his physical profile and skillset as a whole, with scouts suggesting that he was to skinny to be effective against the of his european peers.
Though it didn't take long for Wembanyama to reaffirm his position as one of the most exciting long-term prospects outside of the U.S. In around 23 minutes of playing time, Victor averaged a near double-double with 9 points and 9.6 rebounds to couple with 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals, while most impressively setting a tournament record high average of 5.3 blocks per game.
Unfortunatly Victor wasn't able to follow in his older sisters, sufferring a single digit final loss to Spain, in a game where Victor still put 7 points, and 12 rebounds despite the L.
Still though Victor is expected to move up to the French under-18 league very soon, meaning he will have more opportunities to prove that he is indeed elite prospect. While recieving a tonne of interest from europe's biggest clubs.
His parents insist on keeping him close to home in a familiar enviroment. And the plan going forward into next season. Is to have him workout and practice with the Pro team, who play in the top league of france, and allow him to play competitvely with the u18 and possibly the u21's depending on his heatlh and development.
Before joining France's U16 National Team, having just turned 15 in january. Victor Wembanyama was measured at 7'2 with a 7'7 wingspan. He towers over everyone in a french team, that featured 7 players above 6f7. He's growing so fast he's admitted he doesn't bother keeping track. But Victor's sell as an NBA prospect goes beyond his height, because of how sudden the growth spurts have been, Victor has been able to maintain his shooting ability, as well as now being abormally coordinated for someone at his size.
Which he believes stems from his early years as a footballer, and Judo classes too.
Wembanyama has massive hands, size 19.5 shoes, toothpick thighs and an incredible reach. For reference, and while there have been plenty of young prospects with freakish measurements, it's Wembanyama skill level combined with his unique physical profile that makes him so intriguing. He shoots an easy 3-ball with soft touch, steps into midrange jumpers or floaters off the dribble, he even has a fairly advanced handle for his size and can pass with either hand, Despite his lack of lower-body strength, he's mobile and very competitive, protecting the rim impressively and sharp off his toes.
Even right now still years removed from the draft, Wembaya fits the mold of an NBA unicorn more so than any prospect we've seen, though his long-term success will depend on staying healthy and maintaining a strong physical regimen, as he's nowhere near his peak athletically. His development can shoot in a variety of directions, as he's skilled enough to trend toward a stretch big, while at the same time long enough to become a lob-catcher/shot-blocker, as well displaying signs of a point-center type.
