Why is that? You would think that “best” coaches and trainers would work with the “worst” players and teams to help develop the players that need it the most. Why are we constantly seeing the direct opposite?
I am so passionate about developing ALL kinds of players at every single level of the game. It’s this long term relationship between a player and her/his trainer that stimulates true growth. You never master anything in one day. So many trainers are working for the CLOUT (yes, I said that). Training a player ONCE and owning their development is absurd. As trainers, we don’t “own” players, we grow, guide and reveal their star power. It’s not about training the best players in the world and receiving recognition for it. Development is about taking a player where they are and providing them with the resources to get to where they want to be. It is absolutely relative to where that individual player is in their career and what THEY need to work on. That’s why at Beast Mode Soccer, every kind of player is welcome to be apart of the team. The only requirement is that you have a good attitude and are willing to put in the effort to OWN YOUR DEVELOPMENT.
I know I’m ranting, but it’s for good reason. Why do you think trainers who clam to be the best, only want to train players that are already good?
