Steps to Stop Windows 7/ 8/ 10 Background Data?

1. Open the Settings menu on the Windows Operating System.
2. Click on Network & Internet Option.
3. If you are using Wi-Fi connectivity, click on Wi-Fi. Otherwise, select Ethernet or Dial-Up
option.
4. Click on the Network you are connected.
5. After clicking on it there will be an option of Metered Connection. Activate that option.
