Kenya Power set aside Ksh700m for hybridization in off-grid areas Kenya Power plans to spend 700 million shillings on hybridization of wind, solar and thermal power stations in off-grid areas. Kenya Power General Manager in charge of Infrastructure Development Eng. David Mwaniki says the process is aimed at ensuring that sufficient and reliable electricity is offered to help sustain the productive and income-generating activities of communities in off-grid areas.
