Leading Edge Ceiling fan from the early to mid 90's, Dayton was a common relabel for these. It is unknown if L.E. made these or just outsourced to a company in Thailand. These were available in various sizes ranging from 36" to 72" (Nobody has ever seen a 72" size however). These fans have a major flaw which deems them rather unreliable. That is the bearings are not rated for high heat which these motors by nature run hot and this degrades the grease within the bearings quick causing the fans to run like this one and even seize up causing bigger issues. These problems occur just after a few years as I mention in the video if the can is ran constantly. These are excellent performers otherwise. L.E. classifies these as "commercial" fans not intended for heavy Industrial use. Which you do see these fans pretty often in those applications even today despite the poor quality bearings.
