Pneuma is an ancient Greek word for breath. It's the vital spirit, soul, or creative force of a person! This word came to me as a title of a song through a band name tool. I am immediately looked up this word after hearing this song for the first time.
For those of you who are not familiar with the band tool, I would say they are considered heavy rock/metal with a very technical element. I grew up with this band in the 90s and 2000s and they have been an influence in many areas of my life.
They just released an album which hit number one on the Billboard charts and Pneuma is a track on this album.
I've always been one that gets stuck on melodies with music. And I will listen to the song over and over again until I find another song that does the same thing. The words and lyrics made a lot of what I am going through right now with cancer, death and life helped add perspective into the circumstances that I'm living.
Creatively, this channel has added a specific purpose to my life that has added piece that I have been struggling to find for a long time. Creativity!
You may or may not like this type of music, but the lyrics in the meaning to them are incredibly powerful and deep. I cannot get this song out of my head!
