✍  Volkswagen has confirmed that it is working on at least two new SUVs for the U.S. market, as demand for such vehicles continues to rise.    While speaking with The Detroit Bureau at VW’s plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee where the new Atlas Sport Cross is being built, Volkswagen Group of America chief executive Scott Keogh revealed that both models will slot below the Tiguan in the company’s range.  Other than stating that the introduction of these two new models into the U.S. market is an exciting new opportunity for the automaker, Keogh didn’t provide any further details about the SUVs he was referencing.    The German brand already has two SUVs smaller than the current Tiguan in the form of the T-Cross and T-Roc, but neither of these two are sold in the United States.
