CHEYY’S PLACE For a delicious meal that is home-cooked and made from scratch, Cheyy’s Place is the place to go. From hot meals to poutine, or from cheeseburgers to subs, every day, there is a new special or item from the menu that will definitely hit-the-spot! On Fridays, you can have one of the famous fish fry’s, or on Sunday only, you can taste one of the customers' favorites: steak and cornbread. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears on the look-out because soon, Cheyy’s place will once again be offering baked treats and pizza on their menu! The delicious eatery is located on School Road in the District of Tsi Snaihne.
Jonathan Lazore first started Cheyy’s place almost three years ago, and although he comes in to cook every day, he said that he never works, as he truly loves creating the delicious food that he makes for happy customers. He noted that “every day, I get to create something different...stuff that people can enjoy.”
For those that want to dine in, the newly-renovated Cheyy’s Place has lots of seating. Pick-up is available and delivery can be made to the majority of Akwesasne. For those that live on Kawehno:ke, they can meet at Twinleaf for drop-offs.
Jonathan noted that when he cooks, he knows that his grandmother is looking down on him and is smiling...especially since he makes all his meals right from scratch! Even better, all the takeaway meals from Cheyy’s Place are biodegradable. There is also a quarterly giveaway that customers will be entered into, and First Responders always have a 10% discount!
