Coast Bound - Musings, Tree of Knowledge, Fairbairn, Blackdown Tablelands

Coast Bound - Musings, Tree of Knowledge, Fairbairn, Blackdown Tablelands Due to soaring temperatures and high fire danger, its time to start returning to the coast, in search of a summer job. Having spent a few days in Jundah Outback Queensland, catching Red claw crays, I depart and drive East exploring the Ilfracombe outdoor museum.
The birthplace of the Australian Labor party, the Tree of Knowledge in Barcaldine is revealed, and I attempt to catch some more Red claw at Fairbairn Dam near Emerald. Arriving at Blackdown Tablelands National Park, I set up camp for the week to explore the frog life and enjoy the cool mountain temperatures.
