Jaipur (Rajasthan), November 25 (ANI): Addressing the review meeting of Forest Department at Aranya Bhawan in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “We need to protect endangered species like Great Indian Bustard (Godawan) and Kharmore birds to maintain ecological balance. State government will provide every possible resource for this initiative.CM also directed the officials of Forest Department to speed up rehabilitation of people living in Tiger Reserve areas, providing them proper rehabilitation package and educating them about the protection of the wildlife. Gehlot also emphasized on saving the ecological system of Desert National Park and asked officials to prepare short films, documentary films to educate and make people aware about protecting the eco-system of the Park. CM Gehlot instructed the officials to give top priority to wildlife protection of Tiger Reserves of the state including Ranthambore Reserve and asked them to maintain balance between wildlife protection and tourism.
