Getting everything ready to start heating our log home with wood.

It is getting closer to winter and soon the temperatures will be staying below freezing. So today we are going to get everything ready so we can start heating our log home with wood. We are going to splitting firewood, making some kindling, and cleaning the fireplace and chimney. We have a fireplace insert, which is designed to heat our home like a wood stove.
