Lawson State student makes significant achievements at well known New York Shoe School

Lawson State Community College art student Chanel Williams recently took a short course in New York City at the Shoe School with the Shoe Surgeon. While there, she competed against others and created a shoe from scratch and won! Williams also entered her unique shoe in a international contest and won as well! Before that journey to N.Y.C. and investing $3,000, she went through a dark period in life when her mother, best friend passed away.
