Translation: Rawls says you imagine your original position behind a veil of ignorance. Behind this veil, you don't know yourself and your natural abilities, or your place in society. You know nothing about your gender, race, nationality or personal taste.

Translation:

In this case, freedom and equality may coexist in the ideal way of many philosophers.
