Happy (early) Thanksgiving! I know I missed my Monday upload, I am working on final projects and I have not had time to paint, so I didn’t have the content to post. Thank you to everyone who is sticking with me with this recent crazy upload schedule, I really appreciate it. The good news is I will have winter break starting December 12th and I’ll be able to paint more! For this piece I started doing a center swipe, which is a technique that artist Courtney Holelscher demonstrates on her channel. I will link it for you guys if you want to pay her a visit and subscribe. I quickly realized that she makes this technique look way easier than it is and so the decent down the rabbit hole began. By the end of this video I’ve pulled out the balloon and added some rolls and then went in with some light body acrylics and put on some details. More than teaching, this is just a fun piece that I could have easily wiped off but decided to stick with and ended up making a pretty cool piece of art from.
