After the 3 month long intense interior restoration of the FD RX-7, it is time to see if we introduced any new issues or problems with the wiring, check out the new LED bulbs for the dash, and see if the engine will start. Before I get that far, I need to install the last of the trim, steering column controls, and gauge cluster. Ultimately everything went better than expected, but the length of time the car sat did mess with the air pump. This is a common issue. Fortunately, I do not need the air pump with my setup and unplugging the wiring harness will get me by until I can do an air pump delete with idler pulley. Some believe that running without an air pump with a stock ECU will cause some issues below 3,000 rpm. My experience so far has been acceptable. I will also be swapping to a stand alone ECU and can tune out any issues. We are getting so close to finishing the interior! If you found this video helpful smash that like button!
