THE SPOKEN WORD EVENT WITH MAC ALUNGE 2019
(In commemoration with the United Nations' World Philosophy Day 2019)
Spoken Word Art, also known as Slam Poetry, is a form of Visual Arts which involves vocal parlance with dramatization and intonation speech, usually a poetic monologue, often backed by music for the purpose of education and or entertainment.
The Spoken Word Event with Mac Alunge is an annual Spoken Word Event, a platform, organized by the Spoken Word Artist Mac Alunge for the promotion of varied performances of Original Cameroonian Spoken Word Art.

To the dedicated SWE2019 team for the incredible success we attained on Sunday. We had a thousand people in attendance, 14 breath-taking performances, 9 academic and Governmental Dignitaries and more than 70 Organizations (National and International) participated in the event.
A Special thank you to the Divisional Officer for Fako for opening and closing the event. Thank you to Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea, The Regional Delegate for Arts and Culture for the Southwest, The Regional Delegate for Secondary Education for the Southwest, the Principals of BGS Molyko, the Rector of the National Advanced School of Public Works and and every other Administrative Dignitary.
