The charcoal grate had flattened out in the firebox preventing air to flow under the coal which prevented good burn on the wood, so I ordered a heavy duty re-enforced charcoal grate. Also, I'm adding a stainless steel charcoal basket to fill with lump charcoal when I use the BBQ GURU on a cook.
