SECTOR MACHINERY DEMAND ON THE RISE

The demand of infrastructure machinery especially is on the rise as Uganda enters a critical phase of undertaking huge infrastructure development such as railways, and the oil and gas sector.

Dealers suggest are confident that local companies, given a chance can challenge for top business in the previously looked at as a reserve of heavily capitalised foreign firms.

Chris Lee the general manager Sany group says the rise in sales for construction machinery of up to 50 units per annum indicates a good performance for dealers targeting the sector.
