Delhi Election में Kirari से BJP Candidate Anil Jha ने Mohalla Clinic को Scam क्यों बताया BJP Candidate Interview- Voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held on February 8, 2020. There is a three-cornered contest between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), and United Progressive Alliance (UPA). A major factor is these elections is Purvanchali population. In constituencies of West, North West and North East, more than 40 per cent population are from Purvanchal. Most of these migrants live in unauthorized colonies.

Kirari, one of the 70-assembly seats of Delhi Vidhan Sabha, is largely made of unauthorized colonies. Its a part of North West Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency. Kirari was made a seperate assembly constituency by reorganization by delimitation commission in 2008.

In 2008, Anil Jha from BJP won this seat. He again won this Kirari seat in 2013 by defeating the Aam Aadmi Party Candidate. However, in 2015 assembly elections, Anil Jha was defeated by AAP candidate Rituraj Gautam. This time also AAP and BJP has repeated their candidates. However, as part of the coalition arrangement in UPA, Kirari seat was given to RJD. RJD has fielded Muhammad Riyazuddin Khan from Kirari.
