President Trump justified the killing of Iran's top general on Tuesday, saying the US operation had saved a lot of lives because General Qassem Soleimani was planning a "very big" and "very bad" attack. Mr Trump said the operation had been based on what he called "tremendous information" about his plans to attack US interests.
The US President also branded the former Quds leader a "monster".
