How Laax became one of the world’s best snow parks | Frozen Playground Switzerland

Here we go again: from January 13 to 18, the LAAX OPEN 2020 returns as one of the most renowned snowboard competitions in the world!

When and where? As its name suggests, this event brings together the best snowboarders in the world in Switzerland, in Laax, at Crap Sogn Gion. The highlights will take place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 January with the snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe finals.

Who? The world snowboard elite will meet in Laax for a showdown and will give their all during the FIS Snowboard World Cup in the three-award-winning "World's Best Freestyle Resort". Last year's winners, Chloé Kim and Scotty James, will be competing, among others.
