The killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani has raised tensions in the Middle East to levels not seen in many years. How and when Iran will exact their revenge is unclear as open conflict with the United States is not their only option. They could seek revenge through proxies, attacks on US allies or through cyber terrorism.
Despite all of the uncertainty, one thing is clear, the Trump administration "carries out acts without thinking about the consequences."
Former naval intelligence officer and an MSNBC contributor, Malcolm Nance pointed this out during a recent interview with Roland Martin on #RolandMartinUnfiltered.
Nance told Roland, "Any normal White House would have this gamed out using experts; using the State Department diplomats; and they would try to understand what the secondary and tertiary effects of any of their decisions are."
