Nala's life was difficult enough.But the worst had yet to come. A swelling appeared on her abdomen , first small but then bigger and bigger. Nobody took notice , nobody cared enough to notice. One day , Baby Nala could no longer move because of the extreme pain the swelling caused her. Finally her bitter cryings caught a volunteers attention. She safed BABY NALA and alerted us. We immediately transferred her to our clinic.We were shocked to see NALA's X-Rays. Her abdomen was inflated with her intestines all over the place. An accident somehow must have tore the peritoneum and because she had no one to take care of her , it somehow got to this point while she was trying to survive. Her liver tests are also terrible : the after effects of prolonged starvation.
UPDATE FROM OUR CLINIC :
Nala feels a little bit better. She is much more alert and obviously painkillers are helping with a lot of her pain , she is calmer. Although her liver enzyme levels are still not there yet to permit her to be operated, her apetite is coming back and VERY FAST ! You have to watch how this tiny fighter grabbing her food to earn her chance in life again ! NALA NEEDS TO CONTINUE HER MEDICAL TREATMENT until she is well enough to be operated otherwise she can succomb back to where we started as fast as she got better.
Please imagine Nala was your baby girl for a second, she is there , in the clinic, alone and depending only on your support. Please help her get her second chance, contribute to her medical costs so she can get better and be operated.
