Japan to allow some to leave quarantined cruise ship Princess Cruises says Japan is proceeding with a "phased" process allowing passengers aboard the quarantined Diamond Princesswho have tested negative for the novel coronavirus to leave the cruise ship and complete their quarantine on land. Priority would be given to the elderly and those in windowless interior cabins.
