During the press conference at the Madhyamik Teachers Association building on Sunday, General Secretary Shatrughan Prasad Singh declared that the teachers will not do any government work including census, cattle census, assessment. It is alleged that the state government is fully responsible for this strike. From the Chief Minister to the Education Minister and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department, 15 letters were given but the government did not take the initiative till the talks. The union president Kedarnath Pandey has supported our movement by 50 MLAs. Many legislators are also from the ruling party who have written a letter to the Sangh. Netadvay said that he strongly opposes the repressive action taken by the government in the wake of the strike of the employed teachers. Pandey said that we had no option but to go on strike. Even in 5 years the Education Department could not make the service teachers employed. These are the main demands
The pay scales recommended by the Seventh Pay Commission should be applied to 44900 and 47600 respectively. The existing anomalous pay scale is canceled. Facility of service condition, voluntary transfer, continuation of service, provident fund, pension, term promotion, appointment to the post of Principal, promotion and EPF should be implemented immediately.

7-year condition relaxable on study leave
Pay and pay scales should be given on time to paid and paid high school and inter teachers.
Educators should be kept free from non-academic activities
