Guys. I'm kind of nervous right now. This is our first official video in the new refusing to settle studio. Now you can't see, but it's kind of a mess. So don't judge me for it, but I wanted to bring you a video with one simple concept and I'm not going to teach you all this theory or studies or stories that you'd never heard before. I want to reinstill something that might seem obvious, but you need to ask yourself if you're really doing it. Okay? This is talking about the gap in, in my experience, in my own life, working with clients and seeing other people reading books. I think this is the number one thing that ties everything together from where you are now, to where you want to be in the future. So we have you now we have you future. This is you with the six pack.
This is you with the Lambo, the million dollars, and these are the four things. There's more than four that we're going to talk about the get in your way. I'm going to tell you something crazy right now. Okay? You already know what to do. You already have all the answers you would ever need inside of you and you're not going to find it in a book, in a video, in a coach, in a seminar, you already have it deep down inside you know what to do. There's a deep sense of your higher self, your intuition. That's more powerful than anything. I firmly believe that. And when you tap into this, you have all the answers, you have the roadmap inside. But I think that we get disconnected from that. And I'll give you these four things in just a little bit here. And so when you get disconnected, you lose sight of it.
And then other people start creeping in. Other people's wants and needs advertisements come creeping in, do this and you'll be happy. Drink this and you'll be healthy. And whenever there's a gap between who we are now and who we want to be and we're not working towards it, we're not moving on this journey. Right? These things creep in. Anxiety, in my opinion, is the first thing to creep in. I think anxiety is living in the future. And the second thing to creep in depression that's living in the past. Okay. Anxiety living in the future. Oh my God, I have so much stuff to do. I want to get to 100,000 subscribers. This is back when I was building this business, refusing to settle and I was in my mom's basement. I was 30 K in debt, girlfriend broke up with me, I was post-college, I was sort of precedent.
Know what to do of depressed and anxious at the same time. It sucks. So I was anxious about the future. What if this doesn't work out? What if I try something and it doesn't work? What if this all fails and I have to, you know, sell hand jobs for 20 bucks or whatever. Like your mind goes to the worst case scenario, like it's insane. Or I'm depressed. Like man, the good old times are behind us, right? So that's where this creeps in and it actually widens the gap from where you are to where you want to be. Because if you're going abreast and anxious, do you really want to take action? If you think is going to work, you know why bother is just in the past, you know it didn't work out. So this future is not going to work out. No, you don't want to take any action.
You're not inspired at all. That sucks. And the other thing that creeps in the widens this gap. Okay, are you getting this? Is this making sense? I think this is a cool visual comparison. So what happens is when you have where you want to be and where you want to go, you can get anxious, depressed, or you can compare your situation to other people's. Well, their video is not as good as mine is what I thought. Or like their contents not as good, there was not given as much value or they haven't even posted a hundred videos and they're more successful. What the heck? What's up with that? And does that make you want to take action towards your goals? Now that just widens this gap even more and this gets worse before it gets better, which we'll talk about and I think this will start clicking for you.
