Trump's just-released 2021 proposed budget. It calls for $292 billion in cuts to safety net programs (including Medicaid and food stamps), $170 billion in cuts to student loan forgiveness, a $3.3 billion cut to the National Institutes of Health, and a $6.2 billion cut to the Education Dept. Funding would rise for ICE, Customs & Border Protection, the border wall, NASA, and Veterans Affairs.
