The South Korean government's decided to make it easier for ordinary people to buy masks from overseas.
According to the Korea Customs Service and industry sources, there will be no import duties or special paperwork to file until the end of June.
That goes for masks, hand sanitizer and thermometers... up to a value of 150 U.S. dollars, or 200 dollars when bought from the United States.
However, it only applies to products for personal use.
Until now, importing these products required an amount of paperwork that, for ordinary people, made buying them from overseas effectively impossible.
