All things considered, I think that vacating the Astros World Series title, is too extreme – and what is done is done. They won – and I doubt any of the Dodgers from that 2017 team want to win by default.
But MLB SHOULD have come down on the players with suspensions, at least for the ones who were proven to be involved…
It seems like the opportunity to do so has come and gone now, though.
So expect a season chock-filled with complaints from players, memes on Twitter, and plenty of pitchers taking the rules into their own hands and beaning the Stros.
