Vidit Gujrathi is currently India no.2 and judging from his performance at the Prague Masters 2020, it might well be possible that he would breach the top 10 rankings in the world in the near future. On the other hand Nihal Sarin is one of the most talented youngsters of Indian chess. He is extremely solid and very difficult to beat. It was natural that when Vidit and Nihal clashed against each other at the World Rapid Championships 2019, it was a game to follow!
