For my DCE 202 Class ORIGINAL ?: How did race, gender and or class "appear" in the images created for 'presenting' dance (minstrel, dancing class, etc). Conversely, how did the performer "evoke' notions of race, gender, and class in the movement? What did /does visual culture (media, photos) say about race relations? Gender? Popular culture and "mass media"? Describe how the movement of the people (partner dancing and migration) were radically harmed or helped by these depictions.
