A year of preparation, 6 months of dedicated training, raised close to $3,000 for NYRR Team for Kids, and we are finally here for the 2019 TCS NYC MARATHON! HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME:
"Over a year ago I decided I would run the NYC Marathon. I remember watching it on tv as a kid, fascinated by the life of the crowds, to the beautiful scenery shots of NYC. It’s always been on my bucket list as a kid. It wasn’t easy to get where I am, a lot of time was dedicated and so much was sacrificed to accomplish what I started. Everything became bigger than me when life kept throwing lessons, some so overwhelming where I didn’t even know if I could get through it. It’s funny what confidence and believing in what God has given you can do for anyone. Fear and pain gave me the options where I could run away from it or to run towards everything I was afraid I couldn’t accomplish. I promised myself I would give it my all on the last 200 meters of the race. I’m officially a NYC Marathoner. Anyone who is facing adversity, be silent and humble, love what you have around you, and never stopping believing in a better day. With patience your breakthrough could be moments away when you break the chains fear is holding you down with. Thank you for those who supported me, donated to my team for kids charity, and more importantly the inspiration many of you have given me to have the strength to win within. Love you all.
