Tail of the Dragon trek, day seven: deer impact and no more rear tire - make it home!

Tail of the Dragon trek, day seven: deer impact and no more rear tire - make it home! Potato cam live flashback to the beginning of day seven of our trek to the Tail of the Dragon and back - Pittsburgh to home!

The previous day, we encountered three young deer on the left side of a road in the mountains. Two of them jumped left into the woods, but one decided to jump right into the middle of the road, ending up right in front of me. With no time to swerve or brake, Kawi and I t-boned the deer, and didn't even stop - what was the point, after all?

The poor, stupid deer rolled off the road after impact, I stood up to check the straightness of the front wheel (JUST re-did the entire front suspension prior to this trip, so this was just the perfect thing to have happen to freshly rebuild forks, no?), then kept going until the adrenaline subsided.

We survived everything else up to this point - we weren't going to let a deer take us out! Final leg: Pennsylvania, New York, and HOME!

Daily live survival updates followed :)
