Rajya Sabha Votes Not To Send Citizenship Amendment Bill To Select Panel

The Rajya Sabha has voted NOT to send the Citizenship Amendment Bill to a select panel. 113 MPs voted against the proposal while 92 voted for the proposal and one MP abstained. 206 MPs were in the House when voting was held, which means that the majority mark to clear a proposal is 105.
