What i think of the VEGAN diet! In this video i'll start discussing the different diets we can choose. I briefly touch the Standard American Diet again. Then i spend most video on explaining what i think of the vegan diet. Spoiler; it may not be as healthy/optimal as some people think.

As always, don't take my word for the truth. We all have our biases and i am no exception. Having been a hardcore vegan for over 2 years myself though, i did study both sides of the equation a lot more than most others. So please check out my sources and keep a critical mindset to all information you encounter. Most sources you will find online have an agenda (read: they are trying to sell you stuff OR they will be defending their ideology OR both).

Good example for this is the 'documentary' The Game Changers. Which is actually more a commercial than a documentary. See my vlog at 7:42 and the link to the scientific review below.

Most important: Don't let all the conflicting information on nutrition demotivate you. We all owe it to ourselves and our loved ones around us to find what works best for us. It can feel like a mudfight sometimes with all the dirty discussion tactics used by millitant vegans and carnivores. Keep reading and keep studying to find YOUR truth. And as is true for all self-improvement; most important is to enjoy the process!

In the beginning of this vlog (in the part on paleo/wholefoods diets), i promised to show you guys what i think is the best/easiest diet in this category. Understanding nutrition, and with that your health and happiness, has a lot to do with understanding the function of the macro-nutrients; fat, carbohydrates and proteine. After my 1000's of hours of struggle and study, i can say that the best source of information i found, is the e-book of Ted Naimen.

I may spend an entire vlog on in later, as i think this knowledge, and the easy-digestable way he brings it (pun intended) has the power to change how we see nutrition. The countless super clear and powerful illustrations will make it an easy read for everyone. And as it's my personal opinion that it can pull a lot of people away from obesity, diabetes and other health and happiness problems, i decided to post it here already.
