While speaking in Mumbai on January 21, MLA and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raj Purohit spoke on proposal of Mumbai malls, eateries and pubs to remain open round the clock. He said, “If culture of alcohol gets popular, it will lead to an increase in crime against women and there will be thousands of Nirbhaya cases.” “He should think whether such culture is good for India,” he added on Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray’s statement.
