
A group of 2,333 Bangladeshi pilgrims will be travelling by a special train from Rajbari, Bangladesh to Medinapore in West Bengal of India to attend the annual Holy Urs Sharif scheduled to be held on February 17 at Midnapore. For the participation of the devotees in the Urs, Indian railways will provide an empty rake comprising of 24 empty coaches to run the special pilgrim train from Rajbari to Midnapore, says a press release issued by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. The special train will leave Rajbari on February 15 and arrive at Midnapore in the morning of February 17.
In the return direction, the train will leave Midnapore on February 18 and enter Bangladesh on February 19 via Gede-Darsana interchange point.
