When teacher turnover turns classrooms into revolving doors

Sydney Becker is a first-year teacher at Fern Creek High School in Louisville. She is trying to break the curse of her classroom, which became known as a “revolving door” after three teachers came and went during the previous school year.



With close to 30% of new teachers quitting teaching within their first five years, Becker is hoping to be a constant in her school and for her students.
