I became familiar with it years ago when I read the book ‘Zero Limits’ by Joe Vitale. In this book, Joe shares his experience meeting this therapist called Dr. Hew Len, who’s a therapist who was able to heal mentally ill patients and criminals without even seeing them.

All he did was practicing the Ho’oponopono, in his office, and cleaning his own blockages simply by repeating these four mantras:
I am sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you

In simple terms, what we think and feel not only affects what we do, but also what happens to other people who may not be connected to us. That’s how Dr. Hew Len could heal his patients without interacting with them – by healing himself.

In short, this ancient method says that we are responsible for everything we get in life.

On a subconscious level, we attract our results. And if you want to shift your life, you need to clean these errors of thoughts and go back to state “zero” – where you have no negativity being held within.

Ho’oponopono is a practice that allows you to release the past memories, sending a sincere desire for reconciliation out into the universe, in order to heal yourself.

According to Dr. Hew Len, the light can only come through if your mind is clean. And the ho’oponopono is a fantastic, easy way to do it.

I love this method because it’s so simple to practice, if you remember to use it. I even got so excited about it, that I went on a weekend Ho’oponopono seminar. However, if you can’t attend the seminar, reading the book is enough to understand the deep concept behind this practice.

At first, I had repeated the four mantras all the time – when I was cooking, while driving, in the shower, walking, at the gym. Whenever I could.

Now, I don’t really feel the need, so I practice it for maintenance every once in a while.

But back then, I felt it was very therapeutic and healing. I found that it created rapid relaxation and put me in a state of relief and calmness. Besides that, I believe it has helped me to transform other aspects in my life like improving my relationship with my mother – I stopped blaming her and took responsibility for my well-being.

Taking full responsibility for whatever I perceive as a ‘problem’ makes it possible for me to resolve it. It’s much easier to make changes inside of myself than try to change another.

I created this recording so you can practice this wonderful method even while you sleep.
