New Citizenship Bill to ensure preservation of unique identity of people, reassures Himanta Biswa

Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said that the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill may be passed within two days of the commencement of the winter session of the Parliament. Talking to newspersons, Sarma said that the new draft of the Citizenship Amendment Bill will not be similar to the earlier draft. Sending out a clear message, the BJP strongman also said that every efforts are being made to secure the unique identity and culture of the indigenous people.
