As English National Ballet celebrates its 70th Anniversary season, Matz Skoog remembers how he came to the join the Company as a dancer and then becoming Artistic Director from 2001-2005.

Celebrate with us the countless dancers, choreographers, artists, musicians, artisans, technicians and audience members who, over our 70 years, have been a part of the English National Ballet family, as we and English National Ballet School come together for this once-in-a-lifetime event. 17 & 18 January 2020 at the London Coliseum.

English National Ballet started life in 1950, founded by Alicia Markova and Anton Dolin. The company was known as Festival Ballet and then London Festival Ballet before becoming English National Ballet in 1989.
